Valley Church has a new pastor! 

 

His name is Rev. Reed Shell.  He and his wife, Cathy, have prayerfully considered the opportunity of serving Valley Church and are excited to join us in mid-February.

Reed graduated from Emory and Henry College in Virginia and Candler School of Theology.  He has helped grow congregations, large and small, primarily in the Chattanooga area, for many years.  Reed also served as the District Superintendent of the Scenic South District of the Holston Conference.  His vast experience and wisdom will be a tremendous benefit to Valley Church.

Reed and Cathy live in Lenoir City.  They have 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren, and building relationships is a priority for them.  We look forward to having Reed and Cathy introduced to the congregation in the very near future.
